PRIOR TO CEREMONY

All guests will be in their places before Kimberly comes down to meet her mom. Kimberly and Mom will walk together
to Charles. Mom may or may not say something before she gives Kimberly to Charles.

Kimberly and Charles will both kneel down and make an offering to the Gods for bringing them together. They will
offer the flowers that Kimberly will carry to the altar. Charles and Kimberly may say a silent prayer of gratitude.

When Charles and Kimberly stand up, this will signal the start of the ceremony.

CEREMONY

Welcoming:

Welcome family and friends! We are gathered today to witness the union of Charles J. Baumer and Kimberly A. Clarke.
This ceremony is one dedicated to the unification of the heart, mind and spirit. Charles and Kimberly have found one
other through soft spoken words and a simple, warm touch.

We stand before them to love and support them as they commit to their love for each other as husband and wife.

Powers of the Air, weave tightly the minds of Heart, Spirit, and Love between Charles and Kimberly. Let none undo

Powers of Fire, ignite the passion and love for Charles and Kimberly ever burning yet never consuming the other.

Rev. Earthsong raises chalice to sky

Powers of Water, bless Charles and Kimberly with love as deep as any ocean. Sprinkles water on heads.

Rev. Earthsong anoints bride and groom with oil (to be determined) [I have rose, chinamoon, lilac and lavender]

Powers of the Earth, bless Charles and Kimberly with strength, fertility, and widsom for long as life and love lasts.

Blessing to Couple:

Above you are the stars, below you are the stones, as time doth pass, remember…like a stone should your love be firm
like a star should your love be constant. Let the powers of the mind and of the intellect guide you in marriage, let
the strength of your wills bind you together, let the power of love and desire make you happy and the strength of your
dedication make you inseparable. Be close, but not too close. Possess one other, yet be understanding, have patience
with one other, for storms will come, but they pass quickly. Be free in giving of affection and warmth. Let the innocent
passion and joy of your relationship be with you always.

rings symbolizes eternity.

The circle represents eternity and though our lives are finite, love-the creative force that binds us together, the
force that gives new life-is everlasting.

Charles J. Baumer, I have not the right to bind thee to Kimberly, only you have this right. If it be your wish say so
at this time and place your ring in her hand.

Put ring in Kimberly’s hand.

Kimberly, if it be your wish for Charles to be bound to you, place the ring on his finger and declare your intent to
be bound to the love that you have for Charles.

Kimberly A. Clarke, I have not the right to bind thee to Charles, only you have this right. If it be your wish, say so
at this time and place your ring in his hand.

Charles if it be your wish for Kimberly to be bound to you, place the ring on her finger and declare your intent to be
bound to the love you have for Kimberly.

Handfasting :

Charles and Kimberly will face each other, joining both their left and right hands together. Their arms will look like
the number 8 from above (infinity symbol). Rev. Earthsong places each colored cord over the couple’s hands. Drape each
colored cord across their hands.

Show cords and explain the meaning of the colors.

With these cords, I bind you to the vows that you each have made (wrap cords round both arms) may you be blessed with
love, health and prosperity. For remember what one may not provide, the other may. So are you bound, each to the other
unto all of your days.

Then as the Goddess and the God and the Old Ones are witnesses to this rite, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You
may now kiss.
